Rescue Wish List

Local Animal Rescue Organizations Holiday Wish List

Boxer/Schnauzer Rescue of the Ozarks
"We need some crates. We need boxer and mini size ones. Doing okay on giant ones.  And as always, our vet bill is HUGE! We get all our food at Ultimate Pet if someone would like to buy food.

Also we are sewing crate pads so that all fosters get to go to their new home with a crate pad they have been using so they have something familiar smelling with them. So fleece or batting for crate pads. This is something we just started. Toys...toys are always good. Kongs, Premier items, etc... OH FOSTER HOMES! As always!"
-Jennifer Kimberlin, Director

"Flea and heartworm meds are always a need. Grooming tools for the minis and giants. Foster homes are a huge need! Saving just one pet won't change the world... but, surely the world will change for that one pet..."
-Casey Gaines, Board Member

Canines 'N Cats Adoption Station
"We always need good dry dog food- High protein, paper towels and bleach. Those are the three things we use constantly. We have a wish list posted on our web site at www.cc-as.com. Monetary donations to us are tax-deductible and I send a receipt for every mail in donation."
-Kathy Copeland, Director

Greyhound Pets of America
"We always have a senior or two available to adopt - that would be a special need for us. We always need $. We just paid $1100 for a year old greyhound boy for a knee surgery. He's still in post operative foster care and not available for adoption yet and not done with his rehab yet. His name is Blaster and a "keeper" according to his foster mom."
-Alane Schultz, President

Killuminati Foundation
"Our greatest need this holiday season and throughout the year is for FOSTERS!! It is a great way for people to save lives and help out without the financial investment - especially around the holidays when money is tighter. We could also use more BARC! partners as well. Of course we can always use monetary donations (our avg vet bill is $1500-2000+/mo) and food, toys, treats, rawhides, etc. But really fosters is what Killuminati and our dogs need the most! The more fosters we have, the more dogs we can save! For example, right now, we have 4 open foster spots at doggie daycare/boarding places but can't fill them bc we don't have temp fosters to foster a dog for 3-4 wks while we vaccinated and get them fixed before being able to go to the daycare place. Hope this info is helpful! Thanks for helping to spread the word!"
-Jeanna Callahan, President

SAAFhouse (Spay and Neuter Clinic)
"SAAFhouse spay neuter clinic has a program called spay it forward. It helps people that cant afford even our low prices to get their animals fixed! People can donate to this fund anytime through our website using paypal saaf2018.org or they can send a check (with spay it forward on the memo line) to 1600 N Washington Spfd MO 65803"
-Liz Tracy, Office Manager

SW MO Humane Society
"We are having a "Deck our Halls" adoption event and asking supporters to help us bring Christmas to the animals. The event will be from 5-8pm on Dec. 16th."
-Lesly Thurman, Director
